Hello and happy Tuesday! One of my favorite things in the world is getting mail. I have no idea why, but there is just something so exciting about seeing my name on a envelope. It’s even better when you weren’t expecting it. Junk mail? Still exciting. Am I alone here? Well, since I’ve been working from home, my online shopping has significantly increase… which means more mail! It also means, more to share with you. Today, I’m sharing some recently beauty essentials from Ulta including a few of my new summer makeup obsessions.

If you’re anything like me, you love an easy and natural makeup look. My everyday makeup routine rarely changes and I tend to stick to neutral colors and a matte finish. But, lately I’ve been craving a change. After scrolling through tons of Instagram makeup tutorials, I’ve been obsessed with a glowy, sun kissed look. Bring on the golds and shimmers! With that in mind, while re-ordering some of my must-have products, I added on some new ones to try.

Summer Beauty Essentials

Ardell Lashes | I love to enhance my eyes with a great pair of lashes. These are a great option to add some definition without looking over the top. These are the perfect mid-point.

Duo Lash Glue | Okay, you can have the most amazing fake lashes but they won’t last the entire night without a great glue. I absolutely love this glue. It’s super easy to use and has never let me down. Even on my most “emotional” nights out.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter in Monster | What’s a summer look without a great highlighter? I’m so excited to give this one a try. I’m not a big highlighter person, but as previously mentioned… Instagram made me buy it.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge | These are a staple for me. I love how flawlessly they blend out everything. I cannot recommend enough.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Ivory | Love this concealer for highlighting! It’s fragrance free and non-comedogenic (so it won’t clog your pores). I hate the feeling of heavy makeup, especially in the summer. I’m always amazed with its light weight and natural looking formula.

Touch-Up Facial Razors | It’s summer. I’m not trying to go to the salon to get my brows done. To touch up in between visits, I love using these razors. Make sure you keep them clean and sanitized!

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% | Skincare is sooo important to me in the summer. As someone who likes to go makeup free a lot, it’s important that my skin is clear. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) clears up any blemishes and works to reduce oils. It’s honestly a miracle worker. If you didn’t know, I’m a HUGE fan of The Ordinary.

Morphe Nude Palette 9T Neutral Territory Artistry Palette |This is another new addition. So far, I’m loving it. The colors are warm and bronzy. Basically everything I want for a summer look. I cant wait to play around with it a little more.

What are your beauty summer essentials? What trends are you excited to try out? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I also love getting mail! It’s so exciting. And online shopping has taken over my life as well during self-isolation. I’ve never tried any of these products before, but I’ve always wanted to try the mini razors. It seems like such a smart product.

  2. my online shopping has definitely increased over quarantine as well haha! I also love the maybelline fit me concealer & real techniques sponge! thanks for sharing!!

  3. You’re not the only one who likes receiving mail. It is very exciting. Lol. I don’t wear much make-up to be honest, but that nude palette is definitely something I would buy. I love the colours.

  4. The Real Techniques sponge is a lifesaver! It blends out anything! I have three products from The Ordinary, including the one you mentioned, and I love them all!

  5. They def come off a little intimidating. These are super easy to use in my opinion. My clumsy self has yet to nick myself.
