SHEIN Review

Details: 50% Pearls, 40% Resin, 10% Alloy, silver finish
I’ve been wearing pearl earrings almost every day for the last seven years. I guess you could say they are my signature look? In the last seven years, I’ve probably gone through more than 50 pairs of these earrings. I don’t know how, but I always lose them. I once left a job interview, got to the car, and then realized I only had one earing in. You’d think I would learn.
SO, long story short, I go through a lot and need a low-cost replacement option. These ones are perfect for the job. They are cute, cheap, and good enough quality. As I mentioned, I wear them daily. It’s been about a month of non-stop wear, and there is not peeling or any viable signs of wear. I haven’t worn the daisy pair yet, but they are super cute and great quality as well. 2 pairs for $2… SUCH A STEAL

I’m a little more skeptical about this pair. They are cute, but the part of the earing that hangs below the ear isn’t attached to the actual stud; it’s simply hooked on. As I mentioned in the last pair’s review, I can’t be trusted not to lose earrings. They are cute, I’m just keeping track of how many time I will get to wear them before they are lost forever.
Mesh Scrunchie Scarf | $2.00
Quality Score: 10/10
Details: 100% Mesh, white
My thoughts: I’m suuuppper into hair accessories. This scrunchie is adorable, great quality, and I can already tell I’ll be wearing it one repeat this spring and summer. I love the delicate, almost polka dot, detailing. 10/10 would recommend.
SHEIN Square Neck Puff Sleeve Landscape Print Dress | $20.00

My thoughts: I’m in looove with this dress. Lately, I cannot get enough of the color blue. It’s an obsession. I really like the detailing of the dress as well. It’s a great length- I’m really not into short dresses. I don’t know, I like things to hit right above the knee.
The puff sleeves and neck line are other great features of this dress. If you like to show off the ol’ collar bones, I’ve got great news for you. My only negative would be that the sleeves are a little tight when buttoned (the button is a little pearl… swoon). But, I suppose I’ll do some extra arm exercises and tone up a bit.
SHEIN Layered Ruffle Detail Ditsy Floral Shirred Bardot Dress | $28.00

Details: off the shoulder, a line maxi, 100% polyester
My thoughts: This is the dress that sparked the entire haul. Being the most expensive item of the group, it definitely did not disappoint. I love the detail of this maxi. From the fitted top to the ruffles, this is just a win, win, win type of dress. I do have to admit, I was a little worried that this dress would be too long (I’m 5’4), but paired with some cute espadrilles, it’s the perfect length.
Eyelet Embroidered Puff Sleeve Blouse | $15.00

Quality Score: 6/10
Details: eyelet embroidery, 35% Cotton, 65% Polyester, white
My thoughts: First thing you need to know: this shirt is sheeer. You have to wear something under it… unless you like the bra showing though look. The eyelet details are cute, but the quality is, um, ehh. There were several threads sticking out. I know. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s something to be noted. The fabric itself is a little stiff. Kinda like linen, but rougher. I’m not sure how often I’ll end up wearing this top, but it might find its way into my rotation. Who knows?
SHEIN Butterfly Sleeve Schiffy Top | $13.00

Quality Score: 7/10
Details: eyelet embroidery, ruffles, 100% Cotton
My thoughts: Like the other white top, this one is also super sheer. Design-wise, I really love it. The ruffles and eyelet embroidery are super feminine and flirty. I cannot wait to wear this out and about this summer- I just have to find something to wear under it. Maybe a slip? Let me know what you suggest.
Overall, I was happily surprised with most of the items I selected. I’ve heard mixed reviews, so I was a little skeptical. I cannot wait to wear these pieces and mix up my look this season. If only Mother Nature was as enthusiastic.
