Dudley Stephens Park Slope Review

While vacationing in Nantucket this past August, I made one of my favorite purchases EVER: a sweater. Okay, it’s more than just a sweater. It’s a turtleneck sweater. Let me introduce you to my Dudley Stephens Park Slope Turtleneck.

I have the Park Slope Turtleneck In Vello Fleece in navy and I can’t tell you enough how much I love it.  It’s the perfect transition piece for fall and spring. It fits true to size and is perfect to wear alone or layer with a jacket or vest.

The Park Slope has a shorter silhouette and easily pairs with jeans, leggings, dresses, and skirts. It also comes in two different fabrics: Vello Fleece and Terry Fleece (think sweatshirt material). The sweaters come in a variety of colors and patterns, though I’m a neural gal myself.

Washing and care are super easy. According to the website, machine wash warm, inside out, with like colors, and hang, or lay flat, to dry. I typically just throw mine in with my delicates and it’s worked out great. Make sure to avoid fabric softener, washing with towels, and do not use bleach or iron.

The only problem I’ve run into is my own fault. I was cooking over my gas range one afternoon and noticed a rough patch around my wrist. Turns out, I had melted the material. So, be careful while cooking or by a campfire! Other than that, I have nothing but positives.

How to Style Your Dudley Stephens 3 Ways

Dudley Stephens Styled over a Dress

Pair your favorite sundress with a Dudley Stephens pullover and effortlessly transition your outfit from day to night. Also, what better ways to extend your summer wardrobe into the fall? In New England, the fall mornings are freezing, but the afternoons are warm.. you basically never really know how to dress. As a dress lover, I love bringing my Dudley Stephens for some added layers and extra warmth!

Dudley Stephens Styled with a Skirt

Okay, here is why this sweater is the best: you can dress it up or keep it casual. The classic neckline gives this sweater a chic vibe that elevates it beyond just an everyday sweater. I tuck it in my shorter skirts and leave it out or half tuck it into my longer, midi- skirts.

Dudley Stephens Styled with Jean

Pair your Dudley Stephens with a pair of jeans for a casual, on-the-go look. Whether they are high-waisted (my personal favorite) straight legged, or boyfriend fit, this look with lot effortlessly perfect. Since this is lightweight and not too thick, it fits great under a jacket or vest.

  1. I love the sleeves on this sweater! I don’t have one, but I am always cold and always on the hunt for a good sweater. And this one is so versatile on the different looks!

    1. It’s such a great investment piece! I’m also a chronically cold person lol, so I keep this near by and it does the trick! It’s such a versatile sweater.

  2. Love all those outfits! I like simple outfits that look put together but don’t take much thought!

  3. So cute! I just got into the white sneaker and dress look too! Do you wear yours with no show socks? I don’t as I hate hate when they slip down!?

    1. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands of noshow socks, but honestly they are so annoying and I still end up getting blisters lol. More times than not I just wear an extra small pair of white ankle socks.
